Hi Ellie & Tina,

Ellie, how wonderful to look forward to your train trip to spend time with your son and family. I use to ride the train when I was younger to spend time with my uncle & aunt who lived in Boston, Massachusetts. We no longer have any train service here in our city. We use to have a beautiful train station within walking distance of my house but someone decided that we needed to make way for a shopping mall instead.

our scones with jam and cream and toasted hot cross buns sound awful good. I would like to be eating them today

Today we are having the first round of a Nor'Easter that is expecting to last for 1-2 days. I am looking out my window and can see the heavy wet snow falling. We may experience some power outages too. I went to the grocery store early this A.M. as I needed some salt for my ramp. Rufus (my 15 yr.old golden retriever) and I will have to use the ramp on his short walks. I am hoping we can keep from slipping on it as it is also expected that we may can freezing rain too. It is a very long and steep ramp.

I have been catching up on some reading and telephone calls today due to the weather.

Tina,

I am thinking of your son and grandchildren and pray that they will keep well. I am sure that your prayers help. I continue to keep you and many others in my nightly prayers.
From reading your postings, I know that you are so very special and kind and love all creatures and do your best to take care of them. It must be a beautiful sight to see the deer up close.

Sending my best to you gals.

Phyllis
