Phyllis I hope the storm isn't too cruel in your area..we are currently having high winds,gusts 90 to 100,I have made a thermos of hot water,put buckets of water in the bath tub to flush the toilet if the power goes out. I promised to help feed the seniors who can't feed themselves at todays birthday party at the nursing home so I hope the wind dies down a bit,I have to pick up another lady on the way there.
My prayers are with the families of those students who were shot or injured in that terrific shooting in Virginia yesterday.Parents,Aunts,Uncles,grandparents,sisters and brothers and many others will feel the pain of it for years and some for their lifetime.
My oldest Granddaughter who has cystic fibrosis is 30 today.Years ago cf children never lived to get through their teens, research surely helped them.She is planning a fall wedding,she is a massage therapist, a very beautiful
Marilyn Munro look but natural blonde hair,beautiful pale blue eyes.When she was 2 and 3 years old we never dreampt she would live to see 30 but then the times capsules for enzines were discovered.

We had 2 days of constant rain casuing our state declared a state of emergency. I had water flooding in my basement and in all the years I have lived here this was the second time it has happened. Last Mother's day was the first time and my ex-husband installed a sump pump for me. It was working all day yesterday and still today. My main concern was that the water level would not harm my furnaces in the second room in the basement. Thank goodness we are only having a little rain today. On top of everything yesterday we lost electrical power for several hours. The weather is suppose to improve the rest of this week.

My heartfelt sadness, thoughts and prayers are with the families, students and faculty staff at Virginia Tech University. This massacre is the worst rampage in our U.S. history. It is on most of the t.v. stations today and such a terrible event for everyone. Our prayers are with the families who must endure this horrible, senseless act.

Happy Birthday to your granddaughter. A blonde with beautiful blue eyes (I love blue eyes although mine our brown). How wonderful that she is getting married in the fall.
