Ellie how did the play go? I love local live theatre!
Phyllis my granddaughter loves Conn. you live in a wonderful state.Oh and another hurricain on the way for Florida..hope they don't get hit as bad as the last one.We usually get the tail end :wind and rain-I don't want us to lose the leaves off the trees until after they turn yellow-red and orange in October.
Alas outdoor swimming is coming to an end because the water will soon be too cold-just another week or two.Well I certainly did my share of swimming this summer.Hope the Aussies have as great a summer as we did.
School starts today-I will miss having 8 yr old Zoe as much as I had her this summer while her folks worked-will still be picking her up after school some days.Out of 10 grandchildren only Zoe-in grade 3 and Evan and Mackenzie in grade 12 left in school-David-Sarah and Tammy in college. The rest are in the working world having graduated
other years.
My best school friend comes home from Courtney British Columbia around Sept. 8 ..we plan lots of fun.She lives as far west as you can get in Canada and I as far East. Most likely will be our last time together..I am fine right now but the old cancer can flare up anytime although they can't determine whether the lump in my pancreas is cancer or not-tests show no change in 8 months which is a good sign-they think.
Hope everyone is fine and please everyone keep in touch.

Hi Tina, Ellie and others,

I have been watching the path of the lastest hurricane as my son & his family live in Florida and are near the west coast. So far they have been getting lots of rain and have sandbagged their house area. Now I heard on the news that another hurricane is starting up again. It seems to be one after another for Florida.

Tina, it is good that the tests show no change in 8 months. You are still in my prayers as I have a written list by my bedstand for all those that I pray for each night and I also pray during our church services for family and friends. Our beloved priest just retired this month and he will be truly missed. He wants to spend more time with his family. We had a large informal reception for him at one of our restaurant and it was packed.

You must be so excited to see and spend time with your best high school friend. You can reminiscence about the good old school days. I hope you have lots of fun!

I can't imagine having 10 grandchildren. It is good that you can still pick up Zoe after school sometimes. Most of your grandchildren are all grown up. My two precious little ones are both under 3 years old. My youngest granddaughter will turn 1 in November. Her sister will turn 3 in January 2005. I hope to go to Florida this fall.

I have been enjoying this cooler weather and have started to rake some of the leaves in my yard. Michael (my ex) has been mowing my lawn which I really appreciate. My lawn mower is broken and I will probably wait until next year to purchase a new one. I want one that is easy to start up.

I look forward to the upcoming fall as the foliage here in New Hampshire is beautiful. We attract a lot of tourists this time of the year because in addition to seeing the foliage when it is at it's peak, we do not have any sales tax here in New Hampshire.

Ellie, Sounds like you are keeping busy. Hope your play went well.

Hope all chats readers are doing well and enjoy hearing from you all.

Have a good week.
