Well here we are a few days into fall and today was so warm we could have sunned outside in a bicini and tonight it is so cool you need a coat on.
I bought cranberries today to make a few batches of cranberry sauce-some will be used at our family thanksgiving this week end-ironically thanksgiving falls on the first year anniversary of my cancer operation.They said 7 months to 2 years...I have had a wonderful,wonderful year and thank heavens I still feel fine..well the first few months of the year I had to endure the chemo but it made the rest of this year possible for me.
Oct 23 my girls are having an old hags sleep over for my birthday on the 24th..there will be wall to wall sleeping bags on the floor after the party..no one will have to drive home..should be fun and then the next week end I am going on a week-end retreat with the Lutheran church ladies at a lakeside campground-cabins are heated if we need heat.Tuesday night I was to a neighbors "spa party"thats a party where you try out lotions like peppermint foot lotion or lavender lotions etc.I ordered peppermint foot lotionsand the hostess had such wonderful food for lunch-actually it was more like a feast..she loves baking things and feeding people.

Hi Tina,

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I'm sure that your cranberry sauce is delicious.

I enjoy reading about all your social events. You are one very busy lady and I don't know how you keep track of everything. Do you have a large calendar? I have a small one on my table and then a larger one with more room to write down upcoming events.

We now are having choir practice every other Wednesday night. We have a new priest who is very enthusiastic and young. Our choir director is working with him to fine tune everything.

My high school reunion is this weekend. I will write more about it after I attend. Michael (my-ex) is coming as my guest. I have been told that 110 people are signed up to attend. It should be lots of fun.

We too have been having beautiful warm weather, but today the wind outside is very strong. The leaves are blowing
everywhere. Fall is definitely on it way.
