Subject: Once More..

Hi Everyone.. well maybe it's just a threesome, Tina,Phyliss and me.. but maybe others are reading to be included in the 'Everyone"!
Tina, sorry your winter wonderland turned ugly.. my brother in Kingston, ontario wrote their town had their Santa parade a few nights ago, but the weather was really MEAN! Here in Aussie land it's bright and sunny and warm today,Dec 1 starts our summer..Shops are full of baubles and bright shiny things..
Today I'm treating daughter Pam to lunch in celebration of her finishing her 2 year college course.. she is now a qualified masseur.. I am so proud of her as she had a tough year.
Sunday.. what an experience! I went sailing out on the bay in a fully rigged wooden sailing ship called the Enterprise.
It was a 70th birthday celebration for my son-in law's Mom Joyce. There were about 40 of us in the party.. had to laugh. 2 of the guests got off before the ship even left the dock! Said that even that gentle rocking made them sea sick! A couple of the guys got really into the act by dressing as pirates, so that was fun.
Joyce's family provided trays of sandwiches and savories, tea/coffee and a beautiful white chocolate ganache birthday cake.. so it really was quite an experience.
Hope everyone is well and getting ready for the festive season.
Ellie.

sounds like the boat trip was a blast, I love boating..this is my granddaughter Lauras' first year after graduation in being a masseur or here they call is massage therapist..she is so busy-rented part of a building where they have spa type exercises-she is 25 and has cystic fibrosis and knows a long life is not in the cards for her but never complains-takes every day as if she were healthy as anyone else.congratulations to Pam!
These last 3 years we have had such freaky weather..all our snow has rained away-lots of folk have flooded basements today..we had gusts of 90 klm winds all night so a lot of areas have no elect power this morning.Oh I envy you in your summer weather..yes I do love snow but hate to drive in it and I only love the storms that bring the snow to about my ankles not above my kneese..fussy soul I am.
Like you I miss dodo, susan etc who used to visit our voy chat and do hope they let us have a peek into how their lives are doing"children, pets etc.Lets hope they return or take a few minutes out of their busy lives.

Hi Ellie, Tina and Everyone who we miss from this site,

Congratulations Ellie on your daughter's graduation from college as a massage therapist. That field is very popular here in the US and a good profession.

Tina, Congratulations on your granddaughter's profession as a massage therapist. I am very sorry to hear that she has cystic fibrosis. She sounds like a very caring individual who tries to help others and does not focus on her problems. With her wonderful attitude, anything is possible. God bless her.

This current generation is into wellness and exercise and well educated on the benefits of massage therapy, etc.
My youngest son has a college degree in sports and exercise science and is in the processing of relocating (in the midwest) to start a job as a personal trainer in a new gym.

Ellie, you mentioned that you are just starting summer as we are approaching the beginning of winter. I am sure it is beautiful in your area during the summer months. I hear that we are going to have a very cold, snowy, winter here in New England. I am not looking forward to it as the city plows our driveway shut and it requires a lot of heavy shoveling just to get our cars out in the winter. Oh well we should be used to it by now.

I hope that everyone celebrating Thanksgiving yesterday had a great day.

Best wishes to all.
Phyllis
