Subject: Hi From me too..

Hello all.. I'm back from Sydney.. went to see new baby grandson Alexander. He is SOOOO Gorgeous, 5 months old now, and such a round, happy, friendly baby.. he wasn't all fazed by a grandma and Aunty he hadn't seen before hanging over him (daughter Pam came with me. Sydney is around 700 miles from here.We flew upSat morning, home Sunday night, and Gals.. have a big laugh at this! As your probably know airports are a nightmare now with with all the security checks.. and I was stopped and checked for explosives! My daughter went thru okay, but then I was checked, my person and bags... Pam had gone on ahead and looked back to see where I was.. so I called out.. 'It's okay. They're just checking me for explosives!" and all these people turned around and looked at me!
The weather was fantastic, fine, blue and sunny but with a cool breeze, and we walked for miles to parks, and the beautiful Boatanical gardens, and an art gallery, and a ferry ride.. and back.. across beautiful Sydney harbor.
It was so good to see my son/his wife and their lovely little boy.The time was too short.
Tina, I hope everything was fine with your check-up.. let us know.. and all good thoughts.
Ellie.

Hi Ellie,

You must have been so happy to meet and hold your beautiful grandson. It was great that your daughter was able to go with you. I wish your visit could have been longer. When our children are far away we cherish each moment we spend with them and their family.

What an experience at the airport. I can relate to that as they pulled my aside once too. I was calm though because some of my friends had told me to be prepared in case I got pulled over. They also stated be sure to wear clean socks and they were right. I had to take my shoes off too.

Your description of Sydney was lovely and makes one wish they too could experience the beauty.

My daughter's due date is June 7. She lives nearby and I can hardly wait to hold her new baby.

Sending my best to Tina too.

Phyllis
