Don't know any more than I did before....

After seeing 2 specialists in Halifax I am told to come back in 6 months time for all the tests over.Where the lump is in my pancreas it is more dangerous for them to open me up than it is to wait until either I am in pain or throwing up.If it is a cyst..I should not get in dire pain or throwing up.If it is cancer..time will tell.cheez..I feel like a sitting duck.
They said my tiredness is that I am doing too much and expecting too much for my age and for the operation I went through in the past.But I want to "do" things. I like to volunteer at the hospital and the animal shelter..like visiting the lonely ones in the nursing home.Like getting ready for the church and shelter yard sales..like so many things..tired or not darn it I am going to keep doing them as long as I can.Like going places with friends and family and darn it I will keep doing that too!!
If the weather ever gets "normal" for this time of year I am going to add swimming to my schedule again and if Sammy "up at the corner block gets his exercise -fitness shoppe on the go I am going to that too.

Tina, I'm sure you are not meant to 'give up' on all the things you love to do.. just perhaps to modify a little and not get overtired. It may be that you WILL have to pick and choose on what you do, and that could be very hard.. just make sure you leave time for your own rest and relaxation as well.Okay?

Hi Tina,

I am sorry that the specialists could not give you positive information once he reviewed the tests and that you have to wait and repeat things in 6 months.

You are very special and I continue to think of you every day and will keep you in my prayers.

One of my sister's friend's son had cancer and he under went chemo and had a recheck several months later and was told that he had ?spot need his liver. He too went to 2 specialists and one of them determined that it was scar tissue resulting from his chemo. He will have follow up tests again in 6 months.

All your activities would tire a young person. You should try not to over do it. I know you are very busy and love doing things for other people.

I purchased a tape on line called "Be Fit Over Fifty". One is supposed to do it 3 times a week. One of my sons is a personal trainer (he lives very far away out of state) and since exercise other than walking is not my favorite thing, he suggested finding a tape. I must admit that I feel more energized when I do the whole tape.

The weather today is expected to hit the 80's but tomorrow will turn cooler. My contractors are here working on my upstairs apartment. Major work need to be done before I can rent it. I am replacing 18 windows (for upstairs apt only at this time).

I will write again after the baby shower to let you know how it went.
