Subject: feeling a bit more chipper

doesn't seem possible but that time of year for the animal shelter giant yard sale and auction is here. The big day is june 4th but we are a bunch of busy bees getting the donated articles sorted out-all will devided as usual-jewellery boutique, toy section, big boys toys"tools etc.Sport section, household section,a giant room of clothes and shoes, bicycly and electric gadget sections all in the giant exhibition building.Thousands of people"hopefully" will come like other years and it will be all over in one day, leftover toys and clothes will be sent to 3rd world relief etc.
I am getting out of my "doldrums" from my recent medical woes and feeling much better.
Most of you probably know Margaret has more worries with Bill and I am sure we all wish them good health and much deserved happiness.
Our weather is still unusually cold for this time of year, very few flowers and the leaves are just starting to open up on the trees.I think the odd weather was another reason for my doldrums.
All the best to any looking in.Don't forget we like to hear from you.

Ellie,

Glad to hear that you are feeling better. We too have had cooler weather then usual. We have had lots of cloudy days with light showers on and off. It has rained for the last 3 weekends and more showers expected this weekend.

Your large yard sale for the animals must take lots of work to prepare for it. I am sure it is worthwhile to help the animals. Where do all the people come from? Do they travel a long distance to attend?

I am sorry to read from your e-mail that Margaret has more worries with her husband Bill. I have been keeping him on my prayer list.

I will write more later about my daughter's baby shower. I am meeting Nancy shortly for lunch so have to sign off.

Hello to Tina,

I hope you are having some good weather and the flowers are blooming.

Phyllis
