Dear Tina,

I just read your message today (Sunday)and I am very sorry that you were under the weather. Thank goodness that you were rushed to the hospital because I read it is so important to be treated as soon as possible. I will keep you in my prayers for a full recovery. Please take care of yourself as so many people care about you.

You must be so proud of your daughter and granddaughter that they both are pursuing nursing skills at college.

I am enjoying my granddaughter but must admit that I am totally exhausted by the end of the day. Kaitlyn is 3 l/2 months old and is a joy to care for. She is very aware of her surroundings now and has discovered her hands. Rufus (my golden retriever who is 13 l/2 yrs old)and I leave my house at 7:00 a.m. and arrive back home at 4:30. My daughter lives a mile and a half from me when isn't too bad but I am not looking forward to our harsh New England weather. Sometimes I have trouble getting out of my driveway in the winter because the city plows us in. I live on a heavy traffic street which is the main route to our hospital and to state office buildings.

I rented my upstairs apartment this month. It was vacant since April and it took 3 and l/2 months for all the renovations to be completed. I took out a home equity loan as the repairs needed to be done before I could rent it.

We are having beautiful Indian summer weather and I am enjoying it

Please keep in touch and hope all goes well with your stress test.

Best wishes,
Phyllis
