Tina and Phyllis I have seen you parts of the World in movies and television and always wanted to visit, such pretty places in the world.

Hi Susan,

It is great to meet new friends and to learn so much about other countries. We are once again waiting for another "Northeastern" snowstorm which will be arriving by early evening and expected to continue through Monday. It seems like we are off to an early start of plenty of snow. I hope that we will not have any major storm when I will be flying to Florida.

I sang in the choir today at church and next week the children will be presenting their Christmas programs and Santa will be visiting the children. I am also invited back to my old office on 12/22, to celebrate their Christmas party. They are ordering Chinese Food and we are all bringing in desserts.

Have to go now as I need to walk my dog before the storm arrives.

My favotite food- if I lived handier I would be joining you-lol..Phillis did you know Nova Scotia is Canadas hardest place to predict the weather? We get your weather a day later than you ..if..get this..if the storms from upper Canada are not stronget than your storms..so we have to watch two main weather forces and hope there is not yet a stronger storm coming from the northern atlantic.Thank heavens we mainly get a weakened version of your storms.Today we are to get heavy rains and high winds..I will watch tv news to see if you got this storm in snow or rain.

Hi Tina,

Thanks for giving me the information on Nova Scotia's winter weather. Your weather men have a hard job. We got all snow in our area. What a job to dig out. My tenants have 3 cars (one is a state car because he works in construction) and we have a very narrow driveway. On the outer entrance their is a water hydrant on one side and a telephone pole on the other side so in the winter makes it difficult to get out of our driveway. We have to back out. We are on a street that has lots of traffic particularly during the work week. The good part about living in the city is that we are central to everything and in good weather excellent for walking and we can walk to our downtown area. Chinese is not my favorite food but everyone in my old office seem to be crazy about Chinese takeouts. Seafood, Pizza, and spinach pie are my favorites. (I also love blueberrry muffins) I'm not sure what I will make for dessert to bring to my old office.

Have to go out and do some more shoveling.
