I do my sweet potatoes very much like the above sometimes but have never tried them as french fries..I must try that..
Yes Phyllis-my twins are very close and live only 12 miles apart..but then all my 7 children are so close"best pals"with each other..helped each other build their homes or anything needed and they all live within an 18 mile radius of home..we are central to them all by living in a hub between 3 towns...some of the grandchildren have moved to the city..harder and harder to get rural jobs now.The older grandchildren e-mail me often and it is amazing how history repeats itself..so many things they are doing in the city are repeats of what Ralston and I did there years ago.One of their favorite restaurants is one that we went to 51 years ago..another favorite is built on the spot where Ralston and I met.

Hi, hope the weather is not too cold for your girls at the moment. I just can't believe with the few of us here, that you each have sets of twins. Quite amazing really.

We have a set of twins in my husbands family as well. His sister had a boy and girl (I can't remember the term, but they are not identical) and come from her partners side of the family. They are 21 years old now and lead very separate lives.

Phyllis, I love sweet potatoes (cooked anway) and have jotted down your recipe. The Sweet Potato chips (french fries) sound very nice.

Tina, it's great your family live nearby and that your grandchildren keep in touch via email. Then again, probably not many Grandparents have computers for that to happen.

Cheers
