I will shut up about names! But this sill makes me laugh, so I wanted to share. Some years ago, my daughter and I and her 3 small children were in the city(melbourne) and did a tour of St Pauls Cathedral. The kindly verger walked us around inside showing us points of interest including the beautiful stained glass windows.
He asked the kids names..Then said 'Rebekah. We have you right here in the Church" and showed her a window that featured Rebekah at the well. Then he said to Andrew..'And here you are too Andrew' and pointed out a window of the 12 disciples.
Then he looked at Glenn and said 'I'm sorry Glenn....."
Glenn pointed to a window featuring animals and said resolutely.. 'That lamb's name is Glenn!'

That is so cute.

I love names too Ellie, and could ramble for hours about the different meanings.

I was watching a show the other day and dh was laughing at me because I corrected the character when they tried to tell the meaning of their name. *lol*

Oh Ellie, I loved your story. I think Glenn has a great quick thinking mind for sure (lol). Why be left out, just make up something quick - I love it.

Also, Ellie are you alright after the storm last night? I rang my sister and she said inner east of Melbourne was hit. Hope you are okay and not affected. My sister and BIL were fine and hardly any rain at all. They are more outer east.

Thanks Susan.I'm fine. I'm in the north of Melb and even tho we had a lot of solid rain nothing flooded in our area, unlike the one on Dec 2.
