Hi Susan,

Glad to hear that work has been going well for you and that you are more comfortable with the new computer system.

I understand that you are happy for your son on one hand but as a parent you always worry when a child (no matter what age)will be so far away from home and course we do not want to let them know that we worry about them. It will be an experience for him and you mentioned that he will know other individuals also in the same area.

Both my sons are far away from me,(they are still in the US) but we keep in touch by phone. My son who is single enjoys the outdoor life where he lives and there are other adults in his age in the same area. The country is beautiful where he is. I have never been there but hope to go some day to visit him. He does fly home for a visit sometimes. He came in January of this year and our family and his friends had a great time.

Please try not to worry too much. I know that you will really miss him.

Take Care.

Phyllis

It is so nice your son is going on lifes adventures but I know how heartbreaking it will be for you to have him so far from home..it will be a big adjustment for you..and tears will fall But be proud of him..thank goodness for computers and phones to help keep in touch with loved ones.
So many changes in your life in such a short time:job and family..these are big steps..I pray you get through the adjustments as smoothly as possible.
Tell leigh your friends across the ocean are very proud of him!!
You asked what I like to paint? Seascapes are number one with me but landscapes with brooks & animals close second.
