Phyllis thank you so much for the beautiful card and prayers. I am healing pretty good.
My husband is still in serious condition.
Bo is such good company, he sleeps on my hip when I lay on my side on the couch watching tv.The programming is terrible but it is company.
Ellie I suppose your climate is warming up a bit while ours is cooling down although it is not too bad for this time of year.
My neighbor bought me over some lovely blueberries that she picked last evening at a high bush plantation which also has a winery.My oldest daughter shampoed my carpets for me last week,Living room,dining room and one bedroom but since that I decided to hire someone to take out the carpet from Ralstons bedroom.Actually I hate carpet but can't afford to put some other covering or hardwood down on the living room and dining room floors.
I am having Ralstons bedroom ,my bedroom and the bathroom re-painted, all the rest of the rooms are fine.
My Kevin took me grocery shopping and to the bank to cash some cheques,I was out of money and out of food, I still am not allowed to drive my car yet nor would I dare to, have to heal deeper before I do that.

You are welcomed and I am glad that you are on the road to recovery. I am keeping you and your husband in my prayers.
It is good that you have such a caring family to help you out at home. Blueberries are one of my favorites and I have been adding them to my oatmeal in the morning. I'm sure being with Bo is very comforting as your companion by your side. I agree that most t.v. programs are not that entertaining but when one is laid up at home it will help pass time away.

Ellie, I hope all is well with you and that you are enjoying warmer weather. Our weather is cool in the early morning and in the evening.

I have to have an oil tank replaced and other work in my cellar and hope to get it completed before the cold weather. I am thinking about replacing one of my older furnaces even though it is working because of the age of it. It is very expensive and I will have to take advantage of the equity in my house in order to do so. I have 2 furnaces, one for my downstairs apt and one for the upstair apt. The price of oil is so expensive. It has more than doubled since last year.

I am enjoying spending time with my granddaughters here in town. Ashley is 3 l/2 months old and is a happy baby. Kaitlyn enjoys preschool and I see her early in the mornings that I watch Ashley and when she returns home from preschool.

Well I send my best to both of you and will be leaving in a half hour to babysit.
