Subject Author Date Because you can’t if you compete elsewhere before the new one is crowned and she competed at NC USA so she was ineligible to do a farewell according to the rules. Just like if a MAO local title holder competes at another prelim before their current prelims new season they can’t give a farewell. That is another aspect that separates Miss America from Miss USA. Miss USA is a for profit organization and the organizers can charge the $1500 entry fee.
