What training does Ashley have? Alexis? I'm pretty sure Ashley was told by that photographer she did hair and makeup for how to set up her camera and whatever lights she has for headshots and that's what she does. Same thing they do for mall Santas. That's hardly photography. Ask her if she knows lighting patterns and which one she uses. Ask her if she knows how to use light to create shadows and highlights. Ask her if she uses rim lighting or if she wraps her lighting. I guarantee you she wono't have a clue. And it takes more technical skill to photograph action than it does to have someone tell you how to set up a "studio" and then just push a button.
