I think everyone knows Abby Britt should have been Miss Nc there is no question about it. I see a lot of names swirling around and a lot of changes have happened in the organization. Surprised to see a lot of talk about Kellstrom? I know she placed 4th runner up last year but lets face it no one wants to deal with her over bearing MAMA! I don't even know the family personally but I've been in enough rooms with them near to know that humble and humility are not in there vocabulary. She's a pretty girl it truly is a shame. I've even heard past directors talking about the terrible experiences they have had with her and her mama and how they couldn't wait for her farewell to crown someone else. I would love to see like Lauren Walsh win. She is truly a sweet individual, or a Taylor Foley. Someone who is beautiful on the inside and out. If they charged me with the decision that is what I would be looking for. Sadly that doesn't seem to be the case for the organization and I hate to say it but Kellstrom will probably win this year. Subject Author Date I’m not completely disagreeing with you but don’t give the hype from this board too much consideration. Almost everyone posting is “supporting” their girl and I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with that. Nothing against Kellstrom, she’s a long time competitor, but she’s never beat Hannah Lewis, Keelie or either Lauryn/Lauren. The bottom line is that this pageant, like most others, will be won in the interview room and on the stage. If the board gets it right this year, they will be looking at the Top 10 at Miss America, their beauty, talent, stage presence and looking for a girl who can hold her own on that stage. It’s not easy, most get lost in the crowd at Miss America. All the “lists” here are people’s biased opinions. They are involved in pageants so I doubt they are poor and obviously they are worth infinitely more than trash. You could be as poor as a church mouse and I might call you poor, ugly, and stupid and whatever a bully comes up with and you might be all those things, but that doesn’t mean I should speak about you in that way. When you INTENTIONALLY say mean things about someone that are meant to make them feel bad, sad or hurt, then YOU are a bully, even if it’s the truth.
