Subject: Your daughter earned that much but how much have you spent? I agree - it’s just a pageant, like any other.

In reply to: 's message, "New to the program? That’s how open prelims work. They don’t have to live in the same county to participate. It’s about community service where you’re at. You would be surprised at the number of volunteer hours spent that aren’t plastered on social media. If you have a specific desire for the title holder local to your town reach out to them and ask them for some dates they could serve your community. I can not imagine waking up on Saturday morning after my daughter put in time effort and hard work to say “I hope she doesn’t win” that would crush anyone’s spirit for their mama to be so ugly… about a pageant. MAO is a non profit organization but they have to raise the scholarship funds. My child’s participation in the program has paid for two years of tuition and she has enough left in her 529 for the coming year as well. And she’s only ever been in top 10. It’s not always about winning. It’s just a pageant. If you remember nothing else remember that." on 06:42:27 06/28/25 Sat

Well I would have to add it up for an exact number but we have found great deals on gowns. Interview we usually get something great at Dillards. Fitness we have used the same one several times. Talent we make or borrow from dance studio. We found sponsors and community members to support her through the whole experience. Definitely have not spent 20k but I see how you could easily if you aren’t guided by someone who knows how to navigate the system on a reasonable budget. (NT)No name07:12:42 06/28/25 Sat
