State queen support varies from state to state. Most Southern states, especially TX, take care of their queen better than Miss America seems to. There are a lot of perks and appearances for sponsors. Some states, the queen is lucky to get gas money. That's why certain states are easy to win If you just want a ticket to Miss America, compete a few years in a competitive state, then go to WY, ID, NV, or some of the New England states. But stay away from New Hampshire. NH has a very strong program with lots of locals and sponsor support. I don't know why they never do that well at Miss America . (NT)No name12:15:34 02/19/26 Thu
