I'm sure she's probably just busy getting that huge Christmas tree out and all decorated! You know that's got to take her a while to do! :) And it's just beautiful when she gets done, too!!!

Hi Darlene and Patty~

I'm sorry I haven't had time to post this past week. I'm glad I just checked in and here it is after midnight..I wanted to let you know I'm fine.

Patty you're right...Jack is on vacation..same week every year..we're celebrating his birthday Dec. 3rd and gosh it's today already Dec. 4th our 49th Wedding Anniversary (can't believe that it's been that long..and all wonderful.)

We started last weekend putting up that 10 foot Christmas Tree and it took 3 days to finish..Patty I still put those handmade ornaments you sent from Christmas a few years back...front and center..always reminds me how we met when you were looking for those "Graters" for the craft bazaar way back when.

On Tuesday we did the outdoor Christmas Lights another all day project, but nice weather up until we were just about finished and it started to rain.."drizzled." Not to mention Jack decided to give the lawn another grass cutting..seems like we have been going from early morning until after midnight from this past Saturday.

I still have to write out the Christmas Cards and hope to get them done by the weekend and mailed out by Monday. I've got to bake cookies, but not until the weekend before Christmas.

For some reason I'm really behind and have so many things on my List of To Do's, that I will eventually get it all done.

Tomorrow is our day to enjoy our anniversary and go out to dinner...looking forward to that!

Friday will be a Christmas Shopping day and I'm ready to go get in the mood. My list for this will be easy...Gift Cards. I love the Danish Butter Cookies that Walmart sells in the Christmas Tins and have them on the list too. I'm going to do the Dollar Bill Angels over the weekend too for the Grandkids and one for me too.

I want to "Thank you both" for thinking of me...just have not been on the computer..and that was another thing that I really missed..no "Fun Time" this week..but if it settles down I'll be back soon!

Glad you are just Busy, I remember how Beautiful that Tree was you shared with us in the past! Just be careful with all of your Decorating!
