I still have the lead tinsil in the original boxes. I think I have 10 or 12 packs of them. My brother's are drooling over them. Guess when I dig the boxes up, I'll give them some happiness.

Also have plastic Santas that had suckers sticking out the backpack Santa had. Have some plastic Santas that are on skis. Found a cardboard sleigh and plastic reindeer this summer in my stash of stuff. The sleigh had some transparent glitter sprinkled on it. I did give those to one brother as what fun is it to have them in a box for no one to enjoy. The plastic Santas were very thin hard plastic and have yellowed. I believe those to be from the 40s and 50s

Thanks everyone, for responding. So many things I had forgotten about.

Darlene, one of my aunts always had a cedar tree. Talk about prickly.

Joann, when I was about 3-4, I had a Gerber baby doll. My folks were pretty poor in those days, so my mom took my doll & washed her really well. Then she made her clothes that matched the ones she made for me. I lost the doll in our many moves (military) but I still have the clothes.

SueZQ, I remember the felt tree skirts; I still have one somewhere. And net hostess aprons. Oh yes, the Christmas Club at the bank. One bank gave us bayberry candles every Christmas. I can still smell them in my mind.

Bwacky, what is glass wax? I remember we had some Christmas stencils for spray snow. Man, that was awful to get off of the windows.

Bizzee, you still have the lead tinsel? How cool is that?

Have a cool Yule, y'all. (((hugs)))
