Subject: Creative Confetti Cards by Jazz

Look at these adorable confetti cards that Bonnie made. Thanks a bunch for the ideas. Great eye candy to encourage us to try some ourselves. Here are her pictures and comments.

Thought I would share some confetti cards I made after seeing the link on Craft Friends. I have made similar ones for several years so I thought I would try something new. They are covered with white tulle. Just run a thin line of craft glue around the outside edge of chosen shape. Tap the tulle into the glue with your finger & let dry well.

top left - witch's shoe; like in "We witch shoe a happy halloween!"
top right - pumpkin
bottom left - crown with multi-colored manufactured mylar confetti; jewels are glue on top
bottom right - Christmas card; dots & punched pinecones
...................................

Here is the 2nd one.

top left - onsie
top right - man in the moon; manufactured mylar confetti - bat, stars, jack-o-lanterns
bottom left - stamped bunny with 3-D stamped flower; manufactured mylar confetti
bottom right - 3-d flower with manufactured mylar confetti; also 3 little eggs with bunny confetti
.............................

I had to make myself stop as they are quite addicting. The confetti can be store-bought or punched. Use sequins, snippets of 1/8" ribbon, etc. If you can't draw like me, there are tons of templates to be found online.

Hi Carolyn,

Looks like Jazz has had fun with this idea and seeing her directions certainly makes it easy for even me to give it a try.

I'm sure Linners will be seeing this post and know she likes doing cards and will add her ideas on this too.

I was the one who posted the Confetti Cards and glad to see Jazz enjoyed making her creations.

Hugs~ Joann

I love all of Bonnie's confetti creations. Instead of the tulle and glue, if a person sews, you could use a piece of plastic lunch bag and sew around the edge of the shapes.

Carolyn, I appreciate you taking the time (& energy!) to post the cards.

Linners, I like your idea & will have to try it soon.

Ladies, thanks for the comments. I just wanted to share & to let you know that I do try some of the crafts when the links are posted here. (((hugs)))
