Hi Cathy,

I found them at Trader Joe's here in Delaware 2 years ago. Not sure if they still have them though.

Here's a link showing how they are packaged:

Cathy, our Atwood's farm store has them and also Hobby Lobby by the checkouts.

Thanks to all. Will check Hobby Lobby as we don't have Atwood's or Trader Joes in Montana.

I think the ones I've seen at Hobby Lobby and Atwoods come in a little, square tube like these: http://www.amazon.com/Sunflower-Chocolate-Covered-Sunny-Ounce/dp/B00CHUH2VQ/ref=sr_1_33?ie=UTF8&qid=1446952353&sr=8-33&keywords=chocolate+covered+sunflower+seeds

Ha! Ha! When I went back to look at the original pic, it shows the same brand chocolate covered sunflower seeds as I posted in the link above. Duh!!!

My Hobby Lobby has no candy around the checkouts and manager had never heard of them. Website shows they have none either! Oh well. Cute idea though.

Cathy,

Just a thought could you substitute sunflower seeds with the "MINI M&M's?"

Mini M and M's are too small and not pointed enough to resemble feathers...tried one... thanks for the idea though.

Sorry Cathy...looks like we're at a dead end on the sunflower seeds. I've been looking here too and can't find any either. Our Trader Joe's is out of stock on them too.
