Hello

Ladies, I have been gone a long time. First it was my puter, then weather, then puter again. In one 24 hour deluge we had 12" of rain. so of course we were flooded un for 36 hours. Then my phone company was doing away with dial up & my old puter was not built with an ether net card. Which meant being a new puter. Now I am getting used to a whole new set-up.

How is everyone? Did you all have good Christmas'? I feel like I have been out of the country for years. (((hugs)))

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! She's back!!! So glad to "see" you, Jazz!!! We've missed you!!!
Things have been so slow on here!!!

Things are slowing down for me here finally after I lost my Dad at the end of May...day before my birthday. Spent my birthday planning his funeral. I miss him terribly, but know he's not hurting now! Since I live closest to my Mom and I'm home during the day, I get called on a lot. I don't really mind helping her cause I know, at 85, she can't do everything by herself.

Working on putting all my Mom and Dad's old photos on my computer, so each of us kids can have a copy. 3000+ old pics takes a LOT of time to do! I clearly didn't know what I was getting into when I decided to do this, but in the future, I will be glad I did it!!!

Not crafting a whole lot anymore, but still do some occasionally. Lack of time doesn't stop me from looking and thinking "I could do that!". LOL!!!

What did you do with all your time, since you didn't have a computer?

Welcome back. I sure am glad to see you and know that you are okay. You sure had plenty of problems which had to be very frustrating. What kind of new computer did you get? I hope it gives you many years of good service.

It's nice to hear from you once again.

Sorry you've had so many problems with the computer... phone and the wet weather.

In the past few days..I've been having computer problems too..seems like when it rains it pours,although we are having a bit of snow today.

Let's hope we both manage to see better days ahead!

Aw, thanks ladies. Yes, I had a lot of time on my hands. Did a lot of reading & some crafting. I have been working on one of my hair-brained ideas: crocheting around those little plastic rings from water bottles. So far, I have almost 170 samples worked up. Some I like better than others. I call them, Ring Things.

Patty, it a lot of work putting pictures on the puter. A cousin did that for her mom & dad, & gave me a copy. It is so nice to have.

Linners, I think the new puter is an HP. DS shopped for it & hooked me up so I don't know much about it except now that I am high-speed, I am lovin' it.

Joann, I am sorry to hear you are having troubles with your puter. They are wonderful - as long as they are working.\
