I just wanted to give you the sad news that our Joann DE is now under the care of Hospice. Sis has fought a good battle, but the cancer has won. She is at peace knowing the end is near and she will join her dad in heaven. Pray that she goes quickly and painlessly.

Am sitting here crying as I read your message. I have been putting her and Jack on the prayer list at church every week since I heard the sad news in December and have been praying for her daily. I'm so sad!!! I absolutely HATE cancer, as it took my Dad, too.
I will be praying for her not to suffer and to go quickly, if that's God's will.
She is a "grate" friend! The "grate" is a little joke between us. I was looking for some little, small cheese graters to make a craft with, but couldn't find any around here in OK. She looked in DE for me, found them and sent me about 25+, so that's how we became "grate" friends...long distance!!! She really is a sweetheart!
Thank you for the update, Linda. I had just bought some cheer cards last week to send to her, but hadn't gotten one sent yet. You can bet it will be in the mail TODAY to my "grate" friend!!!
Patty
P.S. Linda, I added my E-mail address to this message, so you can write me privately, if you want. It's the same address as is in the 2010 Craftsayings Directory, if you still have it.

Patty, I emailed you at your Yahoo account. Is your other email account at sbcglobal still in use? I checked the 2010 address book and had that one written in and your Yahoo one crossed out. Which account do you prefer that I use or doesn't it matter?

Let's keep in touch.

Yes, the SBC one is my MAIN one, but I don't usually post it on forums, as I don't want to get a lot of spam/junk on it. I don't check the Yahoo one that often, unless I've posted it recently, like here or if you tell me you sent something to it.
I did check my Yahoo one last night, late and hadn't written you back yet. I had your E-mail, about 75 pieces of spam/junk mail and about 15 legitimate E-mails for a total of 90 unread on it! WOW!!! I was going to tell you, privately, that you could write to the SBC one, if you want and I'd see it sooner.
Anyway, I do have both, but the SBC one is actually the preferred E-mail I use for family and friends. Feel free to use it, Linda!
Patty

I received your email Patty and I replied, using your regular email account. I saved that one to my address book and also kept it in the 2010 Craftsayings address book.

I've not heard any more yet from Joann's daughter.

I am so sorry to hear this! I didn't realize that she was even sick. Going to send her a card tomorrow and hope that it gets there in time.

TY for posting this Linners.

Hugs,
Carmen
