LOL, Carmen!!! I know they need to eat, too, but my birds don't get any of their food!!! Those squirrels will drain my bird feeders in no time!!! Beyond the fence is a park with lots of trees, so we have several squirrels in the area. I do put out popcorn for the squirrels and they eat that, too!!!

Hazelanne, it IS funny!!! I saw 1 squirrel try it on my feeders about twice right after I put the Slinkys on the poles and haven't seen them try it since!!! Kind of surprised him when he went back down! And I don't have to fill my feeders daily now!!! The squirrels do eat what they can find on the ground, too. They just wait for the birds to toss some out for them!!!
