Guess who has the flu?

Yep! I have the flu. I even got the 4 strain flu shot!!! Went to the Dr on Friday. Starting to feel a little better today.

Oh Patty, I'm sorry you have that danged flu. And of course you had to get one of the strains that wasn't covered by the flu shot. I hope you feel better real soon. That and some kind of stomach bug are going around.

That stomach bug is going around here in OK, too!!! Hope I don't get that!!!
I'm much better today, but still coughing. Almost done with my Tamiflu med.
Today's the 1st day that I've felt like doing anything since last Thursday.

Patty, I sure hope you don't get that stomach flu. What you have is bad enough. I'm glad you are "starting" to feel better. That flu sure takes its toll on one's body and strength. I hope you are keeping hydrated with lots of water, taking extra Vitamin C and probiotics too.

I just saw your post about the flu, I hope you are feeling better, Take care of yourself sounds like on the news it is serious business this year with deaths of children and older adults.

Yes, Linda, much better, thank you for checking on me! I'm still coughing a little. I'm having to use 2 inhalers daily...1 I have to use 4 times a day and the other 2 times a day, per Dr's orders. Right before I went to the Dr's, I got a shower and was just out of breath and wheezing...from getting a shower!!! Good grief!!! I have asthma and occasionally need 1 inhaler, but not daily usually...depends on the season. Still wheezing a little, but not much.
I'm only using the cough meds, if I absolutely need it because it has codeine in it and that makes me sleepy. Cough drops or drinking lots of water helps the coughing most of the time. I have noticed that the coughing has lessened a lot over the last few days...THANK GOODNESS!!!

The flu this year has been a meany for a lot of people!!! I went to Wal-Mart today as I needed some things and saw 3 people wearing face masks...2 women and 1 man!!! I have NEVER seen anyone in MY Wal-Mart wearing a face mask! Just really unusual for here!!!

Oh, Darlene, I got your cute card and snowman kit today!!! You are so good at making them!!! Love it!!! Thank you for checking on me, too!!!

So glad you are on the mend! You have been on my mind with all of the flu cases I hear on the news.

Thanks for checking in Patty....was getting worried about you. I'm glad you are "on the mend" and hope you are fully recovered soon. I hope you are taking a lot of vitamins to build up your immune system. Doing the inhalers that often doesn't leave you much time for anything else does it?

I have emphysemia and use an inhaler daily plus use a Nebulizer which I hate, as it leaves me so shakey.

Get well soon and keep us updated.
