What's new with you?

Just wondering what everyone is doing. My siblings and I have been going through our parents' house, 2 garages and shed. I might add that they had lived there for more than 55 years!!! That's a LOT of stuff to go through!!! We have chosen what we wanted of their things with really no fighting over things and are now going through getting things ready for a garage sale in the future, probably April sometime and trashing some things.
I am going through my Mom's craft room! UGH!!! What a mess!!! I actually asked to be the one to go through her crafts as I know what they will or won't want at the church for the bazaar classes. I can't believe not one of them fought me to do that job!!! LOL!!! I bet I have found around 50 baskets in there!!! WOW!!! I'm planning to donate them or some of them to a lady at church who usually buys some baskets to make up themed baskets to sell at the bazaar.
After we have the garage sale, we will be putting the house up for sale. So sad!
Anyway, just wanted to check in to let you know what I'm up to and see what everyone is doing.
I'm busy (big surprise, huh?), but I'll check in occasionally to let you know how things are going.

Hi Patty, Good to see you come popping in. What a job you have clearing out your parents house. I know how much stuff we accumulated in over 32 years in Ohio as we were trying to pack up to move to GA, so I can just imagine what your folks had. I feel sorry for our friend who will have to go through ALL of our stuff when Ivan and I die, especially ALL of my crafting supplies.

Don't work too hard....take some time to relax. Pop in again soon.

Hi Patty
Glad to see you here,I just happened by! I have been thinking of you with what you and your family have ahead of you, Been there done that a couple times. You are lucky to have helpers.
Glad to see Spring here! I have daffodils blooming, but they were under snow this week! We had a beautiful wet snow that stuck to all the trees and bushes.
