I saw this one on the Internet and have made it several times. It is delicious and yes, it does make a BIG difference if you use O'Brien potatoes vs plain hashbrowns. I have used the plain and added onions, etc, but just not as good. The one change I like is to use one pkg only of the gravy as I like a thinner consistency.

1 pkg of 0'Brien hashbrowns potatoes
2 boxes of chicken broth
2 pkg of instant country gravy
1 cup water

Simmer potatoes in the broth until done. Then, stir gravy mix into the cup of water until well mixed. Mix gravy slowly into the potatoes, stirring constantly. Simmer until the consistency you like best. Enjoy.

Southern Indiana had around 4 inches of Snow today, so I made the Bear Creek Broc. Cheese Soup, it was really good, but makes a lot for two people, so for supper I made Broc. and cheese Baked Pot.'s.
Thanks Everyone!
