Hi Patty~

Oh how neat is this Rag Rug. Just the other day I was going through a "Large Black Trash Bag" that I kept from when Marissa was younger...getting ready to cut the buttons from these outfits...didn't get around to it though. Now I will be cutting strips and making a rag rug .. of course this will be a "Round To It" project and hopefully the clothing is not dry rotted.

Thanks For Sharing..Hugs~ Joann

I wanted to make this Christmas Ornament using the Buttons from her clothing or filling one of those glass ball ornaments with the Buttons.

Yes, that would be a good recycle use of the clothing (buttons AND fabric), Joann! I like that button ornament! Would be fun to make the rag rug for her with HER clothing!!!

Patty~

I kept that bag of Marissa's clothing with all sorts of idea's to use the buttons and fabric to make some sort of "Keepsake" for her to cherish from days gone by.

Marissa is now in her 2nd year of College (hard to believe..where did the time go?)

I guess I'm into "Making Memories."

Take Care and Hugs~ Joann
