My Pretzel Easter Chicks (Pictures)

I made these for our family Easter lunch that we had today. My Dad is having surgery on Monday and has to fast tomorrow for the surgery, so we moved our family Easter lunch to Saturday, so he could enjoy all the good food, too.
It's just the small heart pretzels, yellow candy melts (from Hobby Lobby) melted and piped in the holes of the pretzels, tiny chocolate chips for the eyes and a flattened and snipped orange Starburst candy for the beaks. With the flavor of the candy melts (like almond bark) and the orange flavor of the Starburst, it tastes like a Creamsicle. They were a hit!!! :)

I'm sure those Easter Chicks were "yummy", as they sure looked good. I'm sure your Dad enjoyed his early Easter luncheon with your family.. I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Your Chicks were sooo cute. I dipped the bottome half of Pink Peeps in Choc. for the little ones in my SIL's family.Glad your Dad got to have Easter with you ! You are all still in my Prayers.
