Hi Linners~

Thank you so much for brightening a rather upsetting day yesterday.

We had a horrible hail..rain and wind storm here at our end of town yesterday afternoon. (This storm came through 2 times.) We had damage to our house and auto's. The hail was the size of a golf ball and tore up our siding on the house addition and tore all the screens in the back of our house. The front of the house hail broke our gas light in the front yard and tore up all our wired walk lights. The hail also damaged both of the cars and dented the roof and hoods of the autos. Not to mention it rained so hard it came in the basement too. Not a good day for sure. At this moment I'm not sure if there's still more that we missed and will be going outside to check further. Jack is checking in on our house insurance and auto insurance to see if it will cover all this damage. Looks like this storm was stuck over us in this small area...looks like a war zone in the yard..all the new flower and vegetable plants I just planted were sheared off from the hail. Both our daughters had the same damage and they live right near us too.

I opened the mailbox and got your "Beautiful Card" and it gave me a smile.. you gave me a glimmer of Sunshine and Smiles!

Thank You Dear Friend...Hugs and Love~ Joann

Joann,
So sorry to hear of your storm damage. We had small hail and very Heavy rain that afternoon / night also, it took places out of our Gravel drive that had not been moved in awhile, I noticed here the sky was a green color.
I am glad you and your family are safe, the rest can be replaced.

Thanks Darlene...

I'm also thankful that we are safe..it sure was scary..it was bouncing off the skylights in the addition..I was praying that those skylight windows were going to hold up...it could of been a lot worse..that's for sure.

We have a claim in with the insurance company for the damage done to our house and autos. They are setting up appointments (quite a few people needing repairs to their houses and autos.)

I guess this weather is really affecting all parts of the States. Sorry your gravel drive got torn up too. Looks like we're all going to have to make repairs.

You Take Care...Hugs~ Joann

Joann, you are most welcome for the card that came at a perfect time. I understand how scarey those hail storms can be, as we went through the same thing with the same kind of damage several years ago, as did many, many people in our area.

Thanks for calling me. I enjoyed talking with you. Love you too.

Linners~
It really was nice chatting with you this afternoon. We'll have to be sure and stay in touch with each other. Thanks again for your kindness!
Hugs & Love~ Joann

Ginny~
We're waiting for the insurance adjuster to access the damages and will go from there. It's got to be taken care of no matter what the outcome is that's for sure. You mentioned fire season and we're going into hurricane season from June thru November...it's never ending.
Thanks again for taking the time to post your message to me.
Take Care and Hugs~ Joann
