at our family reunions we all take our information and photos to view. Most of us have a binder where we keep our printed information and we always fill in new babies or deaths in the family to keep it up to date. AT one reunion they gave out gag gifts. Like oldest person in attendance got a magnifying glass to read printed material. One year we exchanged recipes for our dish we brought to ahare at the potluck and assembled cookbooks. The last one photos were taken of each family and then shared on a shutterfly site for all to view and or print out. If a location is rented we ask each family to chip in some money so not one person has the burden of the rental fees. Have one person bag up some candies or chips in single servings so you don't have to worry about dirty hands dipping into a bowl of candy or chips and put toppers on the bag saying "welcome to _______
family reunion" Some family get matching tshirts to wear and then you know who belongs to which family. One family would wear red, another blue and yet another maybe yellow or green or have last name on them. This is just what has been done at our family reunions. It is always a hit to have water activities for the children. Water ballon toss or small wading pool or sprinklers to run through. Or hold it at the beach with adult supervision.
