My "favors" for the family reunion this year will be bread and butter pickles using the same recipe that was given to me by my mother-in-law years before she passed away. I plan to print out the recipe on pretty cards to go along with the jar of pickles.
I will decorate a table with a small basket with empty decorative canning jars and canning supplies inside.

A few years ago I did a quilt theme. I made quilt themed bookmarks and decorated with a quilt and candles.

Another year I did the ceramic tiles with the family crest on it. I found the crest online, printed it out on sticker paper and attached it to the tile and did a clear coat finish.

BTW, Blazer - I have already mentioned my ideas to Brenda but thought I would share some of them here for others that might be interested.
