I don't think it can be overstated how much of the problem with this team was the MENTAL issues they had. Not that there haven't been coaching and personnel problems too (of course!) but how many times could you almost see the following thought-bubble over the players' heads?

"Oh shit. Here we go again!"

Something would go wrong and the whole damn team would simply fall apart. If Marvin can establish a mental change for these guys...and bringing in lots of new personnel on the coaching staff and player side is a huge part of it...then that alone could turn this team around.
