Actually our very own Waldo has had the procedure and may be able to lend more insight (teehee) than I could. Physicians/doctors of any kind are not limited as far as referrals but the bad ones seem to refer to bad ones, good to good....

Get an opinion from someone you trust, whether it's a colleague, friend or your eye doc. Ask him who he'd go to if he were to have the surgery.

They have come a long way with it and everyone I personally know who has had it done is very happy. Horror stories exist with any type of procedure, but I haven't heard any.
