Ash,
Hi, fellow dyslexic here. Please don't take meds. to help calm you down. That is a really bad crutch to become dependent on.
Try meditation or yoga. It will have similar affect on your nerves as medication and is so much better for you.
Also, I have found that when I am meditating, I remember something important from work that needs to be done and I have forgotten about it. It takes precious time, but, it has saved me many times.
Also, I have found writing down "to do" lists really helps. I even have a check list of what I need as I leave to go to work and at the end of the day when I leave to come home. One more thing, check your messages several times just to make sure there are no spelling/grammer errors.
Good luck to you and let us know how you do,
Kim
