I have been dyslexic over 40 years. I am in college and have to read chapters twice. I need to get a kindle that downloads college text books and reads it back to you. This would help a lot. I manage my time by having a calander where you see it everyday and marking in with a black marker all appointments and color code the days by filling in the day with different colors showing importance. I also use sticky notes with different colors to show importance and put them on my bedroom mirror when the appointment is just a few days away. I line the most important and closest at the top and take them down when appointment has been finished. Then I move the next one to the top. It works for me. I color code with the sticky notes also.

Short term memory! tell me about it!!
No short cuts here! I use one diary (small)and everything goes in it. Then each day get a4 paper and write out what i have todo. time down one side, leave big gaps so you add to it. then every time you get a spare second pull it out and have a look...easy!! But I must right things down as soon as told.
good luck

I teach dyslexic students. One student has an Apple Mac and he can programme it to ring his mobile every time he needs to remember something.

The only alternative I can think of is to buy some old mobiles and set the alarm on each one with a message saying what it is for. It means re-setting them every night but they have to be set some time...

In fact some mobiles will give an alarm more than once a day...

Best wishes

Esther
