Hey there im dyslexic i have dyscalulia which is a form of dyslexia meaning that understanding financial stuff is difficult for me . There are varied levels of dyslexia i also have word dyslexia which means i have difficulty understanding the written word and find it difficult to get people to understand me and also understand people is difficult sometimes also i dont always understand instructions or letters the way a non dyslexic does i simply just think differently i perceive things differently and maybe where you do something quickly i go round the houses to do as its easier for me i myself have extreme problems understanding figures and financial stuff my husband has to explain things to me in a visual sense we are visual learners but incases of extreme stress dyslexia can become worse as your perception changes when stressed and symptoms of confusion and the inability to think straight is made worse. Dyslexia is not just about not being able to read or write it effects so many senses in the brain. A dyslexic needs time to think and respond and patients and support and understanding. I hope this helps you many professionals are dyslexic it doesnt mean your thick or stupid or not educated it just means that you do things differently dont be to hard on yourself two people that think differently isnt a bad thing
