My daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia as a child. With accommodations, she was able to graduate from college and has a good job. She is very disorganized but manages to do well with a job that requires a great deal of organization. Her major problem, now, is money management. She shows no self control when it comes to money. If she wants it, she buys it. She is constantly in financial distress. She tells me her money management problems are related to dyslexia and not her fault. I always end up bailing her out as I feel she does so well in other aspects of her life despite having dyslexia. Is there any information on dyslexia and money management or dyslexia and impulse control.
