I hate going to a social gathering at a friends house on a Saturday evening because very often someone says, "let's play trivia pursuit." That someone usually is a friend who I had once confided in and told her that I am a dyslexic.Once I said, "okay, let's play" and guess what had happened. I could not read a few simple words.

So you just play and accept the fact that it isn't a big deal? You are very confident and brave.

I guess I would if I were close to the people playing. It's humorous that such a simple thing - a board game - could create so much anxiety in my life. Maybe I just need to get over it.
