Try color coding common letters and numbers.
sometimes size helps also Im sure your know a picture makes a thousand words also we are not dumb just different.
once we get it we really get it

That is a wonderful question; I am happy to hear that you have recognized this little thing has such a large impact on your business and are willing to find a solution.
I am an alternative learner; I can see words in pictures and have a photographic memory, but I can not read the same way as most of the population.

I use the pattern of the numbers on a key pad instead of remembering the numbers themselves but there is still a change for mistake because a telephone has a different pattern then a keyboard and calculator. I think that it is a matter of using colour and creating a code that will enhance the most important detail. Even a picture a head that expresses a heads-up will provide an alert

“Instant symbols” is a tool option in most writing programs that has a load of symbols and ideas just waiting to be discovered
