Iam a mum and have dexlia as well iam now 54 and have 2 children with it that i passed on to them. i have lived through you are going through how i understand both parts having it and been a mun with children with it and all you go though.Last yr i worte a book about my life so far and in it i talk about my childhood and as a mum and the effects it had on my husband perents who helped me the help i got and didnot get all my life it is not the only things i talk about but i share many things as well but dexelia has been with me all my life so it has affected it for goood and bad. i wort the book as a thank for all the good i recived.throught my life so far.you have to belive that u are just as good as those who do not have to walk the walk you are because of dexlia.and the lack of understanding you have faced and do face in this moden world where reading and writing plays such a maiger part in the way we live. as u know there are other parts that are involved in beeing dexlia..as a mum being there for my childern was most inportant for me and them.we now every close.but wlking through the judgments that came and do come all my life. e.g. your not trying.ect.and i had to learn not to hate my self for passing it on to my childern and all that happend to them for as a parent we never what are children to know the pain we have we what life to bee peter for them and to injoy been alive.and injoy finding out who they are.everyone is diffrent to each other in many ways e.g.tall short and in between thats just one example of the diffrentance between people. i all so wish people to understand us dexlia and the diffrents that we have and even from each other. my life story i hop will let people see what happend to me just as an example of one persons life of living S DEXLIA and how its affected some of whaats happened in my live because of it. people know more off how to help now days which is so grate. and they sill learning more off how to help children like us that we did have.
