Good afternoon this is this is Edward adult male 49 years old have been fighting dyslexic all my life graduated high school due to tying the best I could never did take home a book what good would that do paid close attention in class I had a lot a special Ed classes and I graduated from high school 1979 have been a farmer most of my life had to hire a bookkeeper for bills accounting paying bills and so on and so on gave up farming five years ago cash rented the farm out. Went to work in the real world it's pretty mean out there right out the farm we was a satellite dish installer after two years of that went to fiber optic installer as the present time I am currently unemployed looking for work

Through my past history
My childhood was all good as far as with my parents it was really weird because my dad his hobby was reading he went to college for five years got his master's he could do. Ted biology AG he could do calculations faster than a person with a calculator I did not pick up that trade of course I used to be very ashamed of being an the way I am in school they used to be very mean retard name Colleen a lot and I was exceptional I did not get that punishment very much some of the others in my situation went through hell because I have learned even today who ever is picking on you do not show a response to this tough and then they lose entertainment and it that got me through high school pretty good about a freshman year I have picked up the use of alcohol gave me popularity of monks the high school kids my graduating class was about the size of 200 three that time popularity was not a problem because of alcohol having parties through the years we have had three du eyes losing a driver's license 15 days in jail and my bad pass the way and then I had to grow up because I was going to lose everything including the family farm so I joined alcoholics anonymous. For that I Los the shame of being dyslexic don't know why I guess we cannot change the pass im 13 years sober at this time doing great. The computer has opened a new world for me because of dragon dictation program and Clairol read reading program because me the flight instructor powered parachute I have a lot of things to be grateful for today even today I'm too honest whiff job interviews because I'd tell them I'm dyslexic I think that bites me in the butt still looking for work the neat thing the computer programs that I have allows me to look for work. Still married doing great she is very understanding I know sometimes it's Gotta be rough former especially when I not working because sometimes I do not fill like a I'm pulling my own weight they do not know who this will help or who I am writing this two in the past I have looked for dyslexic groups that I could relate to exchange ideas on surviving have not found any in Quincy ill I will keep I'm searching. It seemed like searching for work searching for dyslexic groups at this time my skills are mechanical computer anything I see done I can do other than reading writing spelling is even some adults will say you are illiterate again do not show response . The person same at is normally not very bright themselves consider the source because I can do almost anything other than reading writing spelling I know that is a lot in this world but that's out of my control nothing I can do about it other than do the best that I can and the things that I can do because I'm very good at a lot of other things that others can not do one example once I see it done I can do it if I'm looking at a picture or a map no problem I see more than the normal person troubleshooting is a challenge but I enjoy it far as mechanical and electronic things if you are dyslexic you have a lot of other strengths think about it it might be artwork listening to people directing managing it goes on and on the main thing you cannot change the past cannot predict the future and please be proud of what you have accomplished because sometimes it is a lot for us . So with that what else can I add is the question at this moment I don't know who this will help sitting here thinking about what else can I say. I realize what I have said jumps around all over unshared needs improvement nobody edited this so if you're dyslexic you'll understand the whole thing laughing laughing remember there is a different stages of dyslexic some of them are just in numbers some people cannot read maps some people can not do computers a few examples the list goes on.
To have been thinking about going back to school something it sounds crazy but then if I do online classes I have the computer programs to help me but then I get scared thinking about it so it has not happened yet because I think that the Of the school year there will be a finals that I will have to take somewhere else then I get scared so what's a person do questions

Hello, I would say go for it. I did not know that I had Dyslexia untill I was 46 yrs old and in 1st year at uni. Once I found this out I got all the help that I needed from the university. Please dont let your Dyslexia put you off.
