You can't put everything on being dyslexic! There's a bunch of people who aren't dyslexic and have issues with their spending. Maybe she does need to form an imagine of how it feels and is to have no founds to get better at it or maybe she has self control issues in general which may be caused by other factors(compulsive shopping?). If she is willing to get better at it she might benefit from some professional conciliating.
