I am trying to remove my swing keel from a Seamaster Sailer 23. It seems to stop on some pins. Do you need to slide it all the way towards the stern and drop it down? I need to know because i have blocks under the rear of the iron ballast. I need to remove it to grind it up and paint it. I bought the boat with it stuck up. It is on dry land. Any information is much appreciated, this boat is in British Columbia Canada and no one knows nothing about these boats here. Thanks Tom
