I dont know about original stanchion bases but it you have a few to replace, you might find it cheaper than you think to have some sand cast using your old ones as patterns.

If they are the same as my SM 29 (likely I would think), I would be interested in sharing costs, as some of mine are cracked. You can email me at sm@sandell.co.uk
