Hey Vish, good list! But you seem to have overlooked at least one type of boat - the Cyclone! Mind you, it's plastic, and no serious player would show up in a plastic boat, would they? :-)

I really like the Cyclone design, it's a good "compromise" boat, reasonable all-round performance, but not too spectacular in any one aspect.

And I'm no expert on boat design and performance, but I do like the idea of having a boat that doesn't leak and doesn't need to be fixed. But to get that, you've got to pay a weight penalty. The special lightweight Cyclones that I have paddled in over the last few seasons have been OK, but although stronger than many composites they aren't all *that* robust and do tend to break under the sorts of impacts you can get in high-level games (or in low-level, careless games). Since my current lightweight cyclone has got a big hole in it, I'll probably spend this season pushing around a big, heavy, old standard Cyclone. But I'll still be having fun!

Cheers all,

- Dean
