I think they were all repeating each other because of the affect of the tunnel. I think it causes confusion, uncertainity. It plays mind games to throw its opponents off.

I too wonder if the issue with Dylan will be followed up on. There was much to much emphasis and too many people making comments on his health for this not to mean something. First Rommie tells him he is out of shape and in her own way lets him know he is getting older. Then Tyr's comment and then at the end, Beka asked if he was okay. So, yeah, I think something is happening there.

The alians were too easy to kill, but I think they were suppose to be. In fact, I am starting to believe that the alians were never killed when the crew fired on them. The crew would fire, alian dies, alian disappears. Too easy. I think the same alians keep coming back. When they disapper they are regenerating and it's the same ones over and over.

As to the tunnel I got the feeling that in Wheel when they closed the tunnel and thought they destroyed it, they didn't. I think the tunnel simply got shut and lost power for a bit. I think somehow the alians were able to draw enough power from the closed tunnel to start attacking other ships to get more power. I don't think they ever left the Andromeda universe, I think they got stuck there when the JAWS closed the tunnel in Wheel. I believe the tunnel is definitely two way. I mean they came from somewhere and I think they could get back with the right power source. They needed power to make the tunnel work the way they wanted Sorta like Xulta in The Fair Unknown needed a nova bomb to tesserect the planets. I think they had enough power to keep the tunnel from collapsing in Wheel and that power is what they used to open a portal to get out and get more power sources.

Very interesting ep I thought.

I also believe that the test they passed may very well be part of the engine of creation thing. Just as they had to pass tests in IHNAT, they had to pass a test here to prove they were worthy. I think the test was somehow related to their ability to not let their fear interfere with what needed to be done. They worked as a team, not individually, to do what was right, what was needed. They were willing to give their lives for each other. They also proved their abilities by Harper being able to build the JAWS in the first place that worked, to some degree and then Rommie's abilities to build a bomb out of spare parts to destroy their planet. Of course, was it really a planet or was it a ploy for the test?

So, I actually think this ep was quite intriguing. While it left us many questions to be answered, I think it tied into some other eps, Wheel, IHNAT and more. I think this is the a story arc building that we will see come t pass later in the season.
