We burn only very dry wood and it rains here almost daily which washes the air . Puget sound is surrounded by hills and mts. There is rarely a air inversions such as there is in most metropolitan areas as the rain washes the air . No my state is not all green but we are working toward it on a large basis . What does bio gas have to do with all the coal burned in your state for power. At least the power here comes from mainly hydro, Seattle light which is not my power co however it does service the millions in seattle gets there power from a couple dams one on ross lake and one on pend orielle river which is in eastern wa . They own both dams. the pend Orille river has which is not very long it flows from pend orille lake into canada not a long distance has 4 dams on it by itself all of which generate electricity . I have not even counted the many there are on the columbia . I am glad to be a part of the expansion of wind by my power co which is puget power . They have now built two sections of a windmills by the extra money we pay for our electricity . and another will be on line soon all within the past 2 or 3 years .
Please inform me as to how a person can run a household on a couple light bulbs or were you being sarcastic ????
I am still waiting to hear what you will do when business in your state starts buying up the used salad oil to sell like they have in my state.
By the way you are not the only state to grow corn , etc. E wa is mostly agriculture and grows tons of sugar beets ,, corn and wheat .By eastern wa thats the area e of the cascade mts which are the background for seattle .
